Privacy policy

This tool processes public Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube URLs or files you upload so it can return a transcript. It is not a Meta, ByteDance, or Google service.

What we handle

• The video URL or uploaded media you submit
• A trimmed audio clip, sent to speech-to-text providers only to produce your transcript
• IP address (for rate limiting and abuse control), via Cloudflare when enabled
• Optional contact-form name, email, and message
• Anonymous job counts (successful transcripts)

Speech-to-text providers

When you choose AI (or Auto falls through to AI), we send the 15-minute audio slice to one or more speech-to-text APIs. We do not sell that audio, and we do not keep a public archive of transcripts. Those providers process the clip under their own terms so the text can be returned to you.

Retention

Audio, caption, and job files are temporary. They are deleted within two hours. Contact messages are kept so we can reply. We do not sell personal data and we do not run a public transcript archive.

Cookies, analytics, and Cloudflare

The site may sit behind Cloudflare (CDN, TLS, bot protection). Cloudflare may set cookies described in their documentation. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, countries, and which pages are used. Google may set cookies for that measurement. We do not run advertising pixels or sell that data.
